The REWARD
Not an artist Yet decorated he His shop with simple things.
Not a scientist Yet paved he Ways into people's hearts.
A simple florist was he Outside the cemetery, For thirty lonely springs. Heat, rain or freezing air Nothing stopped him From dawn to dusk. Opened he his shop, Stocked with candles, incense, flowers And wreaths made With diligence and prayer.
Alas! To his death Came no relative Came no heir.
All through his life Amidst pleasure and strife No rituals performed he Termed an atheist But, a rare humanist was he, His work Was his passion and worship Now enjoyed he Up above, God's love and everlasting friendship
