Dr. Manmeet Kaur MBBS, MS (Obstetricsand Gynaecology) is a Senior Resident at GTB Hospital, Delhi.
She did graduation from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College in Delhi, followed by post graduation from the Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior. Since 2023, she has been working as senior resident at the GTB Hospital, Delhi.

Being a devout Sikh, she staunchly believes in the principles of naam japo (meditation on the name of the Almighty), kirat karna (earning an honest living), and vand chakna sewa (sharing with others part what she has received generously from Almighty).

Dr. Kaur regularly visits Philomena’s Paradise – Home for the Homeless run by Ek Ehsaas Foundation (EEF) Delhi and generously volunteers her services and resources for the benefit of residents there. She interacts with and showers much love and compassion on them. The inmates, in turn respond to her with lots of respect and eagerly look forward to her visits. EEF is indeed blessed to have her in its team.

When asked why she wished to join EEF, Dr Kaur replied, “EEF is a noble organization that is making a genuine, cheerful and conscious effort to emulate the philosophy of Sewa. It has been started and is being run by my dear teacher who has always been empathetic towards the elderly, many of whom suffer from injustices prevalent in our society. When I was her student, I used to participate in the charity programmes, prayer sessions and counselling organised by Reena ma’am and I remember clearly that even then she was determined that she wanted to help the unloved and the neglected. Inspired by her passion and her words (God loves a cheerful giver and Charity should pinch), back then I had promised her I would definitely contribute my share whenever she would start her organisation.”

“Today, I feel extremely proud of her and privileged to be able to play a small role in her organisation – EEF.”
“My visits to EEF are an expression of gratitude to God and Guru Dakshina to Reena ma’am. God bless EEF which has a soul stirring motto — Ehsaas nahi toh kuch bhi nahi”.

Thank you Dr. Manmeet for your thoughtful and kind words.

God bless your hardworking hands and compassionate soul. Good luck and success to you.
