Are you PREPARED?

As a Relationship Mentor and Marhamm Therapist for Emotional and Psychological Wellness, I firmly believe that certain kind of things just happen — and they can happen to anyone. Problems in one’s professional or personal spheres, conflicts in relationships, financial crises, brickbats, alluring proposals, entangling circumstances — these are just a few of the situations we all find ourselves in.

The million-dollar questions are — Are you prepared for it? How to survive the onslaught? And do you wish to thrive despite calamity?

Let us remember that in the given moment of time, our experiences, memories, beliefs, information, etc. are deeply embedded in our conscious and subconscious minds. These are the agents or angels that persuade us to deal with situations in a certain way. Importantly, it all boils down to one’s Inner Strength.

A friend of mine lost an eye in an accident. He was taken to the hospital. Several friends visited him to bolster and shore up his confidence during the moment of great and irreparable loss. But they found him cheerful as ever.
And when they expressed surprise, he said, “I thank God that one eye still remains. I can see with it as well as I did when I had two eyes.  The accident could have easily robbed me of both my eyes, but God chose to protect one of them. Blessed be His Name!!”
The accident, which could have plunged many others into the pit of despondency, did not seem to touch him. That was only because of the adequate reservoir of inner strength he possessed.

At the Marhamm Therapy Centre, sessions are designed to address negativity, hopelessness, despondency, low self-esteem, anxiety, fear etc.

After the sessions, we come to realise that pain is a teacher and that failure can be made the highway to success. We also understand that one cannot learn a musical instrument without hitting a few wrong notes.

Only with inner strength can one be inspired to consider troubles as blessings, or even resolve to transform one’s stumbling blocks into stepping stones. Marhamm Counselling and Healing Sessions help to take a vow to transform one’s wounds into wisdom.
Poet and novelist Rainer Maria Rilke says, “….have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart…. Do not look for the answers…live with the question. Perhaps, you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day”.

Yes, everything is in the womb of the future. It’s a long gestational process. Faced with life’s tough challenges, patience combined with inner strength provide the best way forward. The track may, at times, turn painful but it’s the only way to yield a blissful result.
