Father

I Remain Your Father

With a heart
Full of affection
I picked up
An abandoned bundle
Of flesh and blood.
With a heart
Full of love
I raised him up
As a disciplined
Young man.
With a heart
Full of truth
I concealed, yet,
Some realities.
You were my world
And me yours
Until you caught me unawares
Dancing,
As one amongst them...
There emerged then
Between us
A world of difference and distance.
Yet
With a heart
Full of
Affection, love and truth
I remain your father
Though, a eunuch.
